I’m passionate about stories; especially stories that entertain, provoke wonder, tell the truth, and inspire.
Spanning over a decade, my career has encompassed both the stage and lens-based art. Most recently, I was an artist representing Wisconsin for a national storytelling initiative led by a coalition of non-profits that included the MacArthur Foundation and Goodwill. I am also the creator of an award-winning web series that premiered at nine film festivals, writing and directing over 100 episodes.
As a consultant to screenwriters, my clients have pitched, sold, and been represented at major Hollywood production companies Amblin Partners, 20th Century Fox, Netflix, Anonymous Content, Angel Studios, Lifetime, William Morris Endeavor, Circle of Confusion, and more. In addition, I have served as a director and acting coach on seven plays and musicals in the past five years, and I am engaged in a contemporary German-to-English translation of a culturally significant play that is frequently produced in German-speaking countries.
Currently, I teach in the theatre department of Concordia University Wisconsin, where I also direct for the stage. I have also teamed up with Harper College to offer courses in digital filmmaking, advanced digital filmmaking, screenwriting, and advanced screenwriting.
